We had a fantastic AMA session with the Finblox team and the opportunity to learn more about the project and the exciting innovations the Finblox team is bringing to the crypto world.

Finblox is a crypto super-app with gamified features that helps users grow digital assets by earning rewards in simple and fun ways. Users can earn in-kind or universal rewards by participating in the ecosystems programs designed for entertainment, financial, and lifestyle purposes.

TruePNL: Please introduce yourself and describe your background and current role at Finblox?

Finblox: I am Charlie Phan, Head of Operations at Finblox, and it’s a pleasure to introduce myself. I am originally from the US and have a diverse finance and education background from there. I love painting and dogs and am a blockchain enthusiast!

I began my career in finance, dedicating close to a decade to offering financial products with Park Avenue Securities in the metropolis of New York City.

I have also been involved in disaster relief efforts through an NGO during my travels across Europe and Asia, which has profoundly impacted me.

This lead to me to live in Asia and join several successful ventures in the ecommerce and SaaS business. However my fascination with blockchain technology lead me to join a company in the industry that focused on crypto peer-to-peer lending in 2018.

After some time, I joined Finblox, where I had the opportunity to work with a fantastic team in the role of operations in the early stages of a startup. Here I am responsible for overseeing our organization’s operational aspects while driving strategic business development initiatives.

TruePNL: Can you introduce the team behind Finblox? Please share the achievements the team has made so far?

Finblox: Finblox is a venture-backed startup with remote teams across Hong Kong, Vietnam, the Philippines, Singapore, the US, Indonesia, Russia, and Malaysia. Many of us have previously worked at some of the top tech companies in Southeast Asia, including Lazada, Gojek, and Grab (Southeast Asia’s leading super apps and e-commerce platform).

Some of our first achievements were building strong partnerships early with some of the most trusted names in the industry. Such as Sumsub, who helps our community kept safe through KYC protocols. Fireblocks provides us with a secure wallet infrastructure fully encrypted with multi-layer security to keep assets safe from cyber threats and hacks. Since then, we have created an amazing product called FinEarn, where users can earn compounded interest paid out daily on some of the most popular digital assets in the market.

We have successfully been able to create our product to be both mobile and desktop friendly! The team also worked hard implement many other features that some are already available such as :

One of our proudest projects is our prediction market product, Destinyx, where users can win prizes by correctly choosing the future outcomes of popular global events.

TruePNL: Could you briefly describe Finblox? What have you got planned for 2023? A roadmap perhaps?

Finblox: Let me first start by saying that Finblox aims to be a crypto superapp with gamified features built within a secure and compliant platform. Various products and services will be available on the platform for its users to help grow their crypto and digital assets through buying and trading td rewards in simple and fun ways

This year we have so much to look forward to as we also plan to integrate AI technology with our latest product, FinGPT, an AI-powered financial consultant that is set to revolutionize the way we approach wealth-building that uses advanced AI algorithms to analyze financial data, paving the way for more efficient and effective financial decision-making.

Over time we will initially be a hybrid of the best of both worlds from Cefi and Defi to help the adoption of crypto. We are looking to improve our onramp abilities and the ability to have a layer-2 protocol enabling the creation of smart contracts on the Finblox blockchain.

TruePNL: Can you let us about competitive advantages does Finblox have over other projects?

Finblox: Our main advantage is

TruePNL: What’s the latest developments about use-case & features of Finblox? Can you tell us more about how we buy $FBX?

Finblox: Some use-cases are that Finblox offers a wallet feature that enables users to send and receive cryptocurrencies quickly and securely.

Also the platform allows users to earn interest on their digital assets by depositing them into the wallet. Although I cannot say this enouogh but these rewards and interest rates are compounded and paid out daily. Which is an extremely powerful way to grow your investments. Its a much better alternative to traditional banking systems, where interest rates are typically lower.

The platform includes a loyalty rewards program that incentivizes users to hold and use the native token. Users who hold FBX tokens can benefit from enhanced interest rates, free withdrawal fees, cashback, and access to premium features within the ecosystem.

Finblox is offering its potential users the right to pre-purchase FBX tokens. The FBX token is based on the decentralized Ethereum blockchain and marketed as an ERC-20 Token on a standard smart contract.

Our token has completed the smart contract audit and received its certificate of completion and will have its Token Generation Event scheduled to be on May 15.

Then will be listed on 3 different exchanges on the 18th.

How is your project token utilized within the project Ecosystem, and what benefits does staking and holding your project tokens provide for investors?

The utility aspect of the token is the core of FBX, which incentivizes users to hold FBX tokens and participate in our loyalty and reward programs. Some of the benefits of these programs include earning better rewards on their assets, receiving discounts, and subsidized fees on transactions such as those within the exchange of cryptocurrencies, payments, and transfers.

In the future, the FBX token is also expected to become a governance token designed to give its users various rights and privileges to vote on issues that govern the development and growth of the Finblox ecosystem. Finblox plans to implement voting power in 2024.

In the future — we will have gamified products and by unlocking higher loyalty levels, more benefits will open up to yoou. Now holding crypto doesnt have to be boring anymore and you can earn crypto rewards in various ways within our in-app games that also are in development.

TruePNL: Are you a global project or a local project? Which market are you focused on, or is it focused on building and growing to gain customers, users and partners?

Finblox: Finblox is a global project, and we have support for users in countries all across the world. Currently, our focused market is in the APAC region, and we are looking to expand to Eastern Europe in the future.

According to the project’s roadmap- what are your following priorities?

Well outside of what have been mentioned I think we are mostly excited to develop our technology to integrate with artificial intelligence capabilities. At the same time we want to make wealthbuilding with AI easy to use for beginners and versatile enough for veterans crypto holders. Super excited about our future.

TruePNL: Several projects have recently been “hacked”. How do you think recent events in other products affected user trust? How can the project ensure crypto enthusiasts that Finblox is secure and reliable?

Finblox: Recent security breaches and hacks in the DeFi space have undoubtedly impacted user trust in the industry as a whole

At Finblox, we take security extremely seriously and have implemented a range of measures to ensure the safety of our users’ funds. These include multi-factor authentication, regular security audits, and the use of military-grade security vaults.
